Mary and Samuel are a fun-loving, adventurous couple who find joy in everything that they do. They also have big hearts and are very close with their families. These were their biggest priorities when planning how their wedding day would look and feel. They knew they wanted their closest family members to be a part of their day, but they also wanted something meaningful and adventurous, so a big traditional wedding was not right for them. Although they currently live in North Carolina, Samuel was born in Anchorage, so Alaska felt like the perfect combination of adventure and home. Kaiden and Rylee came to Juneau on a road trip from their hometown of Fairbanks Alaska. Kaiden thought Juneau, with its mountains and coastal views, would be the perfect place for a surprise engagement proposal. According to Kaiden, Rylee was always talking about wanting to get professional photos of them. So, we met up in the morning at Skater’s Cabin for what seemed to be an average couples session.
