This isn't my first rodeo. I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, and I've been in business professionally since 2017. This is more than just a job or a creative outlet for me, it's a passion, an obsession, and I freaking love what I do. Ask me anything throughout your planning process. Experience and Passion
Before starting my photography journey, I studied the social sciences, how humans think and interact. After starting my business, I took an intensive mentorship on body language the art of emotion in photography. I've always been fascinated with human behavior, and when I photograph couples, I'm very intentional about capturing genuine emotions and those in-between moments and details that really speak to who you are as a couple.
Emotion Driven
I'm not a big fan of those cheesy and staged photos that don't look genuine. For the majority of your day, I prefer to take a step back and capture moments as they unfold. Then when it comes time for portraits, I like to take a lifestyle approach, which means giving you things to do rather than just poses to stay in. You'll be too busy spinning and laughing and snuggling and swaying to wonder where to look or what to do with your hands.

I get it. seriously, I do! You are not alone. I've personally been in front of the camera many times at various stages of life and always feel some sort of way about it; whether it be stiff and awkward (wtf do I do with my hands?) or super self conscious (do I look as bloated as I feel?). The secret sauce to looking comfortable in front of the camera, is feeling comfortable in front of the camera, and I'm here to make the whole process feel fun, relaxed, and genuine.

Hey There, I'm Sierra
I'm a mother, wife, creator, and dream-chaser. You can often find me with my head in the clouds, feet in the mud, and a third (or fourth) cup of coffee in my cup. I call everyone dude, I randomly break out into song, and I will wade in freezing water to get THE shot for you.
When you work with me, you can expect to dance, run, piggyback, motorboat, swear, laugh, and get messy. So what I'm saying is: wear comfortable shoes, throw the rulebook away, and don't take life too seriously (none of us get out alive).

Frequently Asked Questions
The first thing you'll want to do is get in touch with me to schedule a consultation call. Over the call, we'll talk about your plans, ideas, and your questions and I'll help you pick the right package or create a custom package. It's totally normal to not have everything figured out just yet!
My turnaround time for destination weddings and elopements is 6-8 weeks depending on the time of year (May-September is busy season so my turnaround time is longer during those months). However you can expect some sneak peeks from me within 2 weeks. My turnaround time for portraits is 1-2 weeks.
For starters, we'll discuss a backup plan before you wedding day or photo session. But, honestly, sometimes the rain and wind and unexpected frost can make for some of the most romantic photos and the greatest stories!
For weddings and elopements, yes! You will get all of the final photos that I edit in your gallery. For portrait sessions, it depends on the collection that you purchase, which will include anywhere from 10 to all of the photos from your session.
Absolutely! The gallery that I send out for each shoot/wedding/elopement allows you to share the entire day with your friends and family too. This way they can download whatever photos they like from the day and they don’t have to bug you guys for them. They can even order gifts and prints.
I specialize in elopements and intimate destination weddings, which typically have a guest list under 30. However, feel free to reach out and we can chat about your wedding plans to see if I would be a good fit for you. Finding the right photographer for you is super important, and if I feel like I'm not the right fit, I'll refer you to other photographers that I trust. As for other genres, I also photograph couples portraits and boudoir, and occasionally branding photography on a case by case basis.
