If you’re traveling to Alaska with a surprise proposal in mind, Juneau, Alaska should be at the top of the list. Especially for those with adventurous hearts! With its proximity to picturesque mountains, blue flowing glaciers, and abundant wildlife, Juneau is the total package. The best time to visit Juneau is late spring and summer when the days are warm, and the wildflowers bloom.  It is also the best time to do whale watching (though the whale statue is up year round)! When Tyler reached out to me to plan his surprise proposal in Juneau, Alaska, he told me he used to come here as a kid and that he couldn’t think of a better place to propose. Tyler and Nikki were already planning a trip with his family and their best friends during the 4th of July, which was a perfect cover for his plan. However, only a select few knew what Tyler had up his sleeve!

Shawn and Jessica travelled all the way from Oklahoma for their Alaska Glacier wedding and brought their best friends and Jessica’s parents with them. They travelled up to Alaska on a cruise ship with the intention of eloping on a glacier and taking a sweet vacation at the same time.

When I arrived at Dylan and Anna’s Alaska beach wedding venue, you could tell it was going to rain. The clouds were rolling and the air was thick. That did not deter anyone from enjoying the day. The air was as thick with humidity as it was with joy and excitement. It was a truly all Alaskan wedding.
