Kaci and Josh | Skater’s Cabin | Juneau, Alaska
“Sierra is an ABSOLUTE ANGEL! I cannot recommend her enough. She made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera and was so much fun to work with. I have the most beautiful photos to last a lifetime. I could have never dreamed of these photos turning out the way they did! She is truly an artist. When we get the chance to go back to Alaska, I will be booking her for another photoshoot! Love her so much and I am sending her hugs from Florida! Thank you again!” – Kaci
Kaci + Josh
Kaci and Josh got married in August of 2022 in their home state of Florida. They never had a ceremony or wedding portraits, and then, life got chaotic as they had their youngest daughter in February of 2023. Between then and now, they endured a family tragedy and Josh graduated with his Master’s degree while Kaci continued her Master’s degree program. Together with a couple members of their family and their kids they took a much needed vacation to Alaska.
Kaci reached out to me looking to get the wedding portraits that they never had, while having some time together to reconnect and have fun. I like to call these types of photoshoots, “I-still-do” sessions. Kaci scored a thrifted wedding dress, picked up some flowers from Frenchies Floral, did her own hair and makeup, and they ventured out with their family to Skater’s Cabin. Right as the rain rolled in and we were about to leave, a rainbow appeared. Scroll down to see Kaci and Josh’s rainy rainbow wedding portraits.

Hey there, I’m Sierra! I’m your photographer, travel guide, and biggest fangirl. When you work with me, you can expect to dance, run, piggyback, motorboat, swear, laugh, and get messy. So what I’m saying is: wear comfortable shoes, throw the rulebook away, and don’t take life too seriously (none of us get out alive).
