Welcome

August 24, 2022

If you’re traveling to Alaska with a surprise proposal in mind, Juneau, Alaska should be at the top of the list. Especially for those with adventurous hearts! With its proximity to picturesque mountains, blue flowing glaciers, and abundant wildlife, Juneau is the total package. The best time to visit Juneau is late spring and summer when the days are warm, and the wildflowers bloom.  It is also the best time to do whale watching (though the whale statue is up year round)! When Tyler reached out to me to plan his surprise proposal in Juneau, Alaska, he told me he used to come here as a kid and that he couldn’t think of a better place to propose. Tyler and Nikki were already planning a trip with his family and their best friends during the 4th of July, which was a perfect cover for his plan. However, only a select few knew what Tyler had up his sleeve!

It is one of the most scenic locations in Juneau Alaska, whether you’re getting your photo taken, or taking photos yourself. In this blog post I will share a little bit more about Nugget Falls, how to get there, and things you need to know before you go.

when do the fireweeds bloom in alaska

When fireweeds bloom depends on the weather and climate.
